The Sony BURANO 8K is the newest addition to Sony’s CineAlta lineup, delivering Venice-level image quality in a lightweight and intuitive body. It’s the ideal camera for high-end commercials, fiction, and premium documentaries.
Featuring a full-frame 8.6K sensor with more than 16 stops of dynamic range, internal X-OCN and ProRes recording, and advanced color science, the BURANO is a truly cinematic tool. It also introduces in-body image stabilization and fast hybrid autofocus – a first in the CineAlta series.
✅ IR Cut Filter Updated: This unit has been officially serviced by Sony with the IR Cut filter replaced, ensuring accurate color reproduction, especially for skin tones and deep blacks – a critical upgrade for demanding color workflows.
